Taj Mahal
One of the Seven Wonders of the World is a masterpiece of architecture. There is no competitive monument in the world like this. The beauty and splendor of Taj Mahal, located in the city of Agra on the bank of River Yamuna, echo the theme of love. This glorious monument was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal.

Agra
It is one of the historical India attractions, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. As it the home to the famous symbol of love, Taj Mahal, it is given the name of romantic city of India. There are large numbers of tourists in and around Agra as it includes Sikander tomb, Vrindavan, Mathura and Fatehpur Sikri.

Himalayas
The wide ranges of Himalayas are the interesting places to be explored by the tourists to India. High rising Himalayas cover eleven Indian states out of twenty-eight. Kashmir, rightly called ‘Paradise on Earth’, is a popular place among tourists and the Dal Lake is one of the names in Kashmir. Goa
Located on western coast of India, Goa is the leading tourists’ attraction. Kerala

Karnataka

Tamil Nadu
It is located on India’s south east coast and is known for its rich Dravidian culture and temple towns. The capital city of Chennai and historic towns of Tanjore, Mahabalipuram, Madurai and Kanchipuram are well known for their textile tradition and temples.

A tour to India is incomplete without a tour to Rajasthan. It lies in the northwestern part of the country and is known for its magnificent forts and palaces built by Rajput. Some cities of this region are worth visiting such as Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Pushkar and Ajmer. One can easily come across traditional Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. Pilgrimage Sites
There are many pilgrimage sites in India for its long spiritual background and deep religious faith. I8t is obvious from the large number of temples and religious places that have spread all across the country. These sites attract both local people and international tourists. Some pilgrimage sites in North India are Kedarnath, Gangotri, Rishikesh, Yamunotri, Badrinath, Amaranth, Hardwar and Varanasi. There are some such places in south also such as Kanyakumari, Tirupati Balaji, and Rameshwaram. Apart from it, there is Nalanda, Vaishali and Shravasti as Buddha pilgrimage points.
