Taj Mahal
One of the Seven Wonders of the World is a masterpiece of architecture. There is no competitive monument in the world like this. The beauty and splendor of Taj Mahal, located in the city of Agra on the bank of River Yamuna, echo the theme of love. This glorious monument was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal.

It is one of the historical India attractions, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. As it the home to the famous symbol of love, Taj Mahal, it is given the name of romantic city of India. There are large numbers of tourists in and around Agra as it includes Sikander tomb, Vrindavan, Mathura and Fatehpur Sikri.

The wide ranges of Himalayas are the interesting places to be explored by the tourists to India. High rising Himalayas cover eleven Indian states out of twenty-eight. Kashmir, rightly called ‘Paradise on Earth’, is a popular place among tourists and the Dal Lake is one of the names in Kashmir. It presents a most memorable picture of Kashmir along with elongated shikaras (house-boat), thousand different wares and myriad flowers.

Located on western coast of India, Goa is the leading tourists’ attraction. It has become very popular holiday destinations as it comprises golden sandy beaches, which collectively with sunny weather forms a holiday atmosphere. It is not only a relaxing place but also a place that adds fun and excitement to the life of visitor. It is one of the most sought after beach destination.

Kerala, a beautiful state on southwest coast of India, is known for green hills, calm backwaters and palm fringed beaches. Tamil Nadu
It is located on India’s south east coast and is known for its rich Dravidian culture and temple towns. The capital city of Chennai and historic towns of Tanjore, Mahabalipuram, Madurai and Kanchipuram are well known for their textile tradition and temples.

A tour to India is incomplete without a tour to Rajasthan. It lies in the northwestern part of the country and is known for its magnificent forts and palaces built by Rajput. Some pilgrimage sites in North India are Kedarnath, Gangotri, Rishikesh, Yamunotri, Badrinath, Amaranth, Hardwar and Varanasi. There are some such places in south also such as Kanyakumari, Tirupati Balaji, and Rameshwaram. Apart from it, there is Nalanda, Vaishali and Shravasti as Buddha pilgrimage points.
